Between late April and mid-June, Damiefa School served as an official West African Examinations Council (WAEC) exam centre for students in Grades 6, 9 and 12.
We welcomed over 350 students from various communities around Dabwe Town, as well as monitors and volunteers from the West African Examinations Council. For many of them, this was their first time visiting our school.
People told us that DS felt โdifferentโ. Some students even asked if they could come back to learn more about our programmes.
WAEC monitors also took note. Our facilities and cleanliness made such a strong impression that DS was recommended as a centre for more exams in the future.
What stood out to our visitors?
โก๏ธ Fans and proper seating in the classrooms
โก๏ธ A school nurse on standby for students who fell ill
โก๏ธ Clean, well-maintained bathrooms
โก๏ธ Our agriculture site and engaged student community
Weโre proud of how our team prepared, hosted and supported everyone during this important time. And we are honoured to have been part of such a meaningful moment in so many studentsโ educational journeys.
