𝗪𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗻’𝘀 𝗖𝗹𝘂𝗯 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝘄𝗲𝗶𝗴𝗵 𝗶𝗻 𝗼𝗻 𝗴𝗿𝗼𝘄𝘁𝗵 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘀𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁

Our Women’s Club is growing as more and more women make their way to us. They’re seeing friends and neighbours improve their businesses and make more money and they want that for themselves to.

We’re also getting a lot of questions about our activities. So we’re also reaching out to women’s groups and surrounding communities to inform them about what we do.

In April, our Project Lead met with the leaders of our Women’s Club. She updated them about recent developments, presented her plans and asked for feedback.

The Women’s Club leaders are fully behind the plan and have said that they will support it by taking on more responsibilities. These include helping to recruit new members, being present at more meetings as the number of activities increases and is split across multiple days, and improving/strengthening the oversight of the informal Savings & Loans Club as members and amounts increase.

In return, they asked us to offer them small, occasional compensation. We are taking their feedback seriously and will do as they asked.

Leadership matters and so does recognising the time and effort it takes.
