Damiefa School isnโt new. It was first started by our founderโs parents in the 1980s, as a small private school in Dabwe Town that offered children in the area a solid educational foundation. When the war came, the school was forced to close and the building was damaged.
In 2020, we began the process of bringing it back.
Today, Damiefa School is once again a private school offering affordable education to children from Dabwe Town and surrounding communities.
But our vision goes beyond simply offering classes. Weโre building a school for families who want consistent, affordable education in a caring and structured environment. Families who are often stuck between two difficult options:
โ Public schools with overcrowded classes or inconsistent instruction
โ Private schools that charge more than many parents can afford
We know this gap well. Because weโve seen it in our own community and because itโs this gap that drove our founders to start the school.
Our goal is to help fill that gap, one step at a time.
That means:
โ
Keeping fees affordable, even when itโs not always financially easy
โ
Offering vacation school to support learning and retention
โ
Focusing on teacher quality, student safety and clear communication with parents
โ
Creating systems and policies that help us grow without losing what matters
Damiefa School is not run by the community, but itโs here ๐๐๐ย the community!
