𝐁𝐞𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐬𝐜𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐬: 𝐛𝐮𝐢𝐥𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐮𝐩 𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐭𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐬

We’ve been working behind the scenes, preparing for a stronger start to the new school year.

With growing student numbers at Damiefa School, we’ve focused the past few months on teacher preparation and professionalisation. That includes:

👉🏽New handbooks for students and teachers

👉🏽Updated operating procedures for consistency across the school

👉🏽A structured training plan to support our teaching staff

Before school started, all teachers took part in a full-day capacity training on communication, classroom management and teacher–parent relationships.

They also received refresher training from our comprehensive reading programme partner, Liberia Reads!, and participated in an art education session guided by our international volunteers.

Because quality education is about whether teachers feel equipped, supported and ready to grow with their students.
