Vocational training for girls, BRAC Liberia

We work as implementing partner for other NGOs to provide vocational training across Liberia. This allows us to train more people and help build economic self-reliance. In 2017, we worked with BRAC Liberia to provide vocational training for teenage girls in 4 counties.

BRAC Liberia is an international NGO dedicated to fighting poverty and focusing on women and girls. BRAC Liberia fights poverty through education, health care, social and economic empowerment, and microfinance.

Mineke Foundation's ideals and goals show great overlap with BRAC's ideals and goals. In addition, our vocational training is known for being of high quality. BRAC Liberia therefore asked Mineke Foundation to provide vocational training to adolescent girls in the ELA program.

Mineke Foundation carried out soap making and hairdressing training in Kakata (Margibi County), Gbarnga (Bong County), Sinje (Grand Cape Mount County), and Paynesville (Montserrado County).
